Vision vs. Sight

SIGHT = a measurement of your “level” of vision, for example “20/20”

  • when there is a problem with SIGHT, you may see things as blurry

VISION = how well you process the information you see

  • when there is a problem with VISION, you may have headaches, trouble reading, double vision, short attention span, one or both eyes turning, motion sickness… and the list goes on

Sight stops at the eyes. To assess VISION we have to look beyond the eyes and assess brain and body function.
